Weekend X-Wing games are becoming a regular thing in our house. Here’s a time-lapse video of one of the games we played last weekend.

Anna stopped reading Rey’s Survival Guide because she felt that Rey was being too negative. Liam sort of agrees, but doesn’t think that’s reason enough to stop reading the book. Personally, I’m loving Rey’s Survival Guide so far and think the tone makes sense.

We’ve all now read the Jedi Academy trilogy and loved it.

We read a great listener email in this episode, which includes these theories:

A description for New Republic: Bloodline!

The updated DK Star Wars Character Guide is coming soon! Given that this book only has 200 entries, we have to conclude that there will be no Rebels or Clone Wars characters included in it. I would love for DK to release a deluxe edition some day with every single character in it. Maybe a box set?

Lego is at it again, with The Force Awakens video game.

We’re looking forward to playing this one, though we’re a little surprised the whole game will focus on TFA, since in the past, games have focused on multiple movies or multiple seasons of Clone Wars. At any rate, it’s sure to be completely awesome.

I go on a tangent about consent in Star Wars. When Han is holding Leia’s hand in the Falcon in The Empire Strikes Back, she says, “Stop that,” twice. I tell the kids (for the umpteenth time) that Han should have let go at that point. You don’t keep holding someone’s hand like that after they tell you to stop.
